This course prepares Massachusetts educators to teach students how to use AI responsibly, ethically, and critically. Participants develop classroom strategies for addressing academic integrity in the age of AI, building students' critical evaluation skills, and supporting age-appropriate AI literacy across content areas.

Design developmentally appropriate AI literacy instruction that builds students' understanding of how AI works and its societal implications.
Develop classroom policies and practices for academic integrity that address AI use clearly, fairly, and in alignment with DESE guidance.
Teach students to critically evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, bias, and reliability across content areas.
Create learning experiences that build students' understanding of data privacy, digital citizenship, and responsible AI use.
Assess student AI literacy using authentic performance tasks aligned to Massachusetts curriculum frameworks.
