This course is designed for educators interested in learning why students who experience trauma-inducing experiences are more at risk for acting out at school and also dropping out. Course content will explain the impact of adverse childhood events (ACEs) on brain development and give teachers strategies that can help them explore ways that they can make their classrooms trauma sensitive and a safe place for all learners.
